“It would be incredibly challenging to go and sit down with a client who maybe doesn't have a huge financial background or financial education and try and talk about mortgages, protection, investments, pensions, inheritance tax, you name it, in one go.
I think if you paint the picture and say "today, I'm going to talk about this. Next time, we are going to have a separate meeting, we're going to talk about the protection." I found that by breaking that up, you get a lot more engagement from the client, because you're not overloading them with too much information from the wealth arena."
